Just like the parking lot at JUCO that will be under construction the next 18 months, we are under construction in our lives every day.  Being under construction isn’t just the physical construction like me losing 40 pounds in the last couple of years.  Our spiritual construction is critical to our development as a HIM.  Some days, I do a decent jobs but most I do not.  That’s why it’s so important in F3 to lead, support, encourage, listen, etc. each other.

Do you not know that your bodies are temples of the Holy Spirit, who is in you, whom you have received from God? You are not your own; you were bought at a price. Therefore honor God with your bodies. – 1 Corinthians 6:19-20

Therefore, I urge you, brothers and sisters, in view of God’s mercy, to offer your bodies as a living sacrifice, holy and pleasing to God—this is your true and proper worship. – Romans 12:1

So whether you eat or drink or whatever you do, do it all for the glory of God.  – 1 Corinthians 10:31

…but those who hope in the Lord will renew their strength. They will soar on wings like eagles; they will run and not grow weary, they will walk and not be faint. – Isaiah 40:31

For physical training is of some value, but godliness has value for all things, holding promise for both the present life and the life to come. – 1 Timothy 4:8

I can do all this through him who gives me strength. – Philippians 4:13

9 HIMs made it out to JUCO to kick off their weekend. We definitely missed some HIMs that fartsacked, just means they’re more rested for additional burpees next week.
Take joy in your trials and tribulations, as they are what make you stronger.
It’s been great seeing JUCO continue to grow and seeing new faces out here each week. Be sure to encourage those that have been sporadic in posting.
Hardship Hill tomorrow!

Let your yes be yes and your no be no.  37 All you need to say is simply ‘Yes’ or ‘No’; anything beyond this comes from the evil one.  https://www.biblegateway.com/passage/?search=Matthew+5%3A37&version=NIV

1 Samuel 20 14 But show me unfailing kindness like the Lord’s kindness as long as I live, so that I may not be killed, 15 and do not ever cut off your kindness from my family—not even when the Lord has cut off every one of David’s enemies from the face of the earth.”

“Don’t be afraid,” David said to him, “for I will surely show you kindness for the sake of your father Jonathan. I will restore to you all the land that belonged to your grandfather Saul, and you will always eat at my table.”

Matthew 5:9 “Blessed are the Peacemakers for they shall be called children of God.”  Are you a Peacemaker? Or do you help stir dissent as I often find myself doing, sometimes without even knowing it.  With over 11 years in law enforcement, my job is literally to help keep the peace.  But, this responsibility lies with all of us in almost every aspect of our lives, especially our relationships with others.  Stirring dissent, whether it is engaging in gossip or complaining about someone, ruins your witness for Christ.
    HH coming up.

Hello Dolly and LBCs
7 strong again this morning
Ephesians 5:1-5: be imitators of God. Be in the world but not of the world. We are called to be different in the way we act and live our lives. We are called to be Christ-like. Consider this when doing anything: “would Jesus be sitting beside me supporting this?”
Hard work by all the PAX this morning!
Abridged this Thursday. Hardship Hill on May 18th. Last day to get JUCO shirts.
